First time poster and looking for an answer to save me masses of tedious work.
Not sure if this is a Query or Relationships question ...
I have one main Index table with about 1150 entries and about 20 fields per each entry.
I have taken the Main Index table and divided it into 27 smaller tables by their subject matter - each entry and fields carry the exact duplicate information.
I am wondering if it is possible to update/change a field in the main Index table and for that same exact update/change to "automatically" take place in it's corresponding sub-table. If so - how is it done?
I am a total novice to Access (greener than fresh moss). I have read relationships/queries and dabbed with it but after a dozen tries and reading the queries discriptions have had no success. So I am not really sure if this can be done or if this is possible with MS Access or I should try using another database application that could better accomplish this.
I have asked this question before but this seems to be the impossible, does anyone have any suggestions?
Cheers.
