I need to set up a separator page that identifies each file being printed by its filename. I'm batch printing about 20,000 files. Handwriting the filename on each separator is a royal pain. Don't see any way to do it in the NT help screens that outline the standard separator page switches.

You can manually edit the seperator pages being used. They are stored in the winnt\system32 directory and end in eps. one of the fiels has some information in it that might be decoded to customize it. I've never done this, but I've looked at the files and the conatin alot of PS command that one probably could edit to make custom pages.

Surely, the EPS file is going to be a standard EPS file which you can edit in Illustrator?
If you don't have that then try opening in Photoshop or similar and rasterizing it.

What EPS file (as in Postscript)?? Are you perhaps referring to the .SEP file I mentioned in my earlier post? Or am I missing something altogether (which is much too frequently the case!)?
DoggyDog
DougJones@FreePCMail.com
<a href=wow.don't want one.xyz>Lord of the BikePath
Lovin' life!
