I installed SMS on a server that has too much crap on it already. Now various other programs are screwing up, not to mention I can't get SMS to run anyway. I just want to uninstall it, but there seems to no material out there about this. Only tells how to uninstall clients.

Remove ALL boundaries with the help of SMS-AdminConsole - this uninstalls all SMS clients (but wait a while, this takes time).
Then deinstall SMS-Server.

Hope this helps,
Chris

Chris, thanks for the tip. However, #1, I can't get SMS Admin console to run, and #2, I have no idea how to uninstall SMS server, there is no Uninstall program apparent, and the Install program is only 1-way, without the option of uninstall. Where/what is the program I need to run to uninstall SMS? I'm on NT4 by the way.
Thanks.

OK, if you cannot get SMS-AdminConsole to run you may have not set-up boundaries and other things, right ?
Just insert the SMS-CD and then choose "uninstall", that should do it ;)

Cheers,
Chris

What I was trying to say was, there is no "uninstall" option from the CD or the setup program. If there were, I'm quite certain as a network administrator, that I would have seen it. There is none. But I do need to get rid of it. No, it's not set up at all, it's not working and it's interfering with other programs. and it can't be removed.

Hmm, that's really strange.

I have the oportunity of removing SMS when I a) insert the CD or b) choose "SMS Setup" from the "Start Menu / Systems Management Server".

Sorry, I have no clue.... :(
