Can run .rpt but not .exe

Hi,

I am experiecing difficultys with a report. I have created a report and I don't have problems with running this report, but when I run this report after I compiled it and I run it via the exe file I get the error "Cannot open SQL server."

I created a dozen of reports with an exe file and never experiecing this problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Which version of CR are you using...?

COMPILED REPORTS has been removed for about 3 versions.

I wish they should'nt, it is the same reason why we did'nt deployed V10 . I use version 8.5.3.936

You needed a patch for 8.5 to allow it to compile reports properly - you mights still be able to find that patch on the BOBJ site.
