I thought I submitted this earlier, but I did not see it in My Forums List. So I'll try again. Basically, for testing/learning i have exchange 2007 setup to host email for my domain.net account. I previously had this setup on Exchange 2003, and it worked fine. So this is a fresh install on a new server. I could not upgrade from 2003 to 2007 since old server was only 32 bit. So my problem now is i can send and receive email on my blackberry with my domain. I set it up on outlook and tested connection and it passed. But, I can not send or receive email with outlook. Nor, with OWA. I'm using smtp.comcast.net as my smart host. I have mydomain.net set as an accepted domain, and setup an smtp address for joe@domain.net and made it primary. I checked my nat settings, all look good. The installation went pretty smooth. So I'm not sure if I'm missing something here.

Tried that tool. It only wants to test port 25. I have SMTP receive connector set for 587, same on nat policy on firewall. Comcast blocks port 25.

SMTP receive on 587 is wonderful. Except that every other server in the world will be trying to send to you on port 25.

Smart host will help you outbound. If comcast blocks port 25, you either need to do an etrn, a pop3 pull or change provider.
