I have created a project schedule that had certain tasks starting on certain dates, i.e. Analysis A would start on 8/15/11. Since todays date is the 8/22/11 and the analysis hasn't started can i tell project to push any unstarted tasks to today's date until i input a completion percentage? Thank you.

Can project change the start dates of tasks based on the current date

Hello Brian,
Assuming you have tracked work on tasks that did start when expected, the next step would be to use the "Reschedule uncompleted work to start after" command.
Tools > Tracking > Update Project
