Hello all,

I am fairly new to the world of UNIX, but i am Loving it more and more as i learn.

I have a question regarding logins. I created a normal user to access certain applications. every time i go to login now, it takes forever to login. and it eventually lockes up and i can't get into the machine.

I recently mounted a 2nd drive in a directory /space. i used the entire disk for this folder, I am assuming this may have something to do with it, and i also can't access SMS any longer, and this is the only way i know to troubleshoot it.

Help would be unbelievably apprecitated. Thanks alot in advance guys.

quick correction,

when i try logging in from the console, i get the following error.

unknown automountd[203]: server unknown not responding
no utmpx entry. you must exec "login" from the lowest lever "shell".
unknown snmpXdmid: unable to connect snmpdx

I am assuming the first error is due to a lack of disk space.
