Can one embed audio file (mp3) into powerpoint presentation file? 2

I am new to Microsoft Powerpoint. Can mp3 file be embedded into the final powerpoint file?

Yep - Insert, Movies and Sounds, Sound From File - select your .mp3 file - that's it.....

mp3 files are always linked. They are never embedded. Only wave files are embedded within the presentation and that too if their sizes are less than the size set up in "Tools" | "Options...", "General" tab, "Link sounds with file size greater than" box.
