Hi,

Can one AD account have multiple mailboxes in Exchange 2010?
eg. one AD user in his department e-mail mailbox account (primary job scope) and having second work with another e-mail addresses. So account marcusb67 has the following e-mail addresses: marcusb67@domain_1.com (set as reply) and marcusb67@domain_2.com

Please advise.

No, an AD account can only have one mailbox. But there are two ways you could work with this situation:

A. Use a distro group as a way to send emails using either address, but have all mail go into a single mailbox.

1. Make a new distro group with marcusb67@domain_2.com as the primary SMTP address.
2. Add marcusb67@domain_1.com as the only member of the distro group.
3. Assign marcusb67@domain_1.com Send As permissions on the distro group.
4. Enable the "From" field in Outlook and select the name of the distro group when sending as marcusb67@domain_2.com

B. Create an additional AD account with a mailbox for the domain_2 account, and add it to the list of available mailboxes in Outlook. Give your first/main account FullAccess and SendAs permissions on that second account. Select which address to use when sending an email.
