I'am just about finished with a new report with one small issue. I have one field that grows depending on the amount of data it pulls and so it sometimes grows to several times the height of other fields in that same section. Since I have a top and bottom border around all of this fields, it doesn't connect when the growing field changes size. Is there a way (a formula?) to make all of the fields in a section match the height of a growing field so that the borders line up?

Thanks.

Instead of using borders on the fields why not insert a line and format this to print at the bottom of the section.

If you cannot do as Gary has suggested, you could replace each field with a formula that calculates the length of the long field divided by the number of characters per line (using a non-proportional font) and then adds a return(s) to the field as appropriate--but this would be a lot of work, when Gary's suggestion is so much simpler.
