can not view asp pages on localhost?

Hey all I used to be able to view asp pages I was working on by saving them and open via IE but now I can not it shows the background only.
I can upload to web and view fine but on localhost no go this happens on desktop and laptop anyone know why?

Is IIS running check the play button in IIS

Are you accessing these files via IIS rather than just opening the file, ie:

Open browser and go to "

http://localhost/myfile.asp".

If you are, when the page loads, do a View Source and see what HTML is actually being output - it may be that you have an error in your ASP.
