Can not send calls to AA with manager 5.0 1

I have an IP500 4.2.14 with embedded messaging and my manager is 5.0. I am trying to make a hunt group ring and overflow to a single user forwarded to a short code that sends the calls to an AA. After upgrading manager to 5.0 when i forward to #02 it says "alias not found" or something to that extent.
How can i get my calls to an AA other than using inbound call routs or rolling back my manager?

 
Try not using a # in your short code. Replace it with a * or even better a number alone (i.e. 5555555).

A star for you, does forwarding to numbers starting in # do anything different in 5.0?

 
No. But it has always had issues so best just to avoid it. You'll have the same issue in Voicemail Pro.
