Can not see all new message with OE on a Netscape mailserver

Hello,

I have few emails accounts on a Netscape mailserver (IMAP 4 mailboxes).

I'm using OutLook Express 6 client (configured as Imap client) and for some messages, it is not possible to download them. I can see for instance there is 2 new messages on the server, but they don't appear in my mailbox.

I f I use Netscape messenger I can see these new messages I was not able to reach with outLook express.

This problem does not appear for all messages I received, just a few (let's say one over 20) but ...

Could be the sender mail client using a special formating ? Something to change on my Netscape mailbox profile ? SOmething to change into my OE cleint configuration ? I got same issue with OE 5 or 6. I'm running Win 98 SE.

Go into Tools->Accounts and double click on one of the problem accounts, make sure that the box for 'Include this account when receiving mail or synchronizing' is ticked.
If it is, is there an error message that you are getting..?? Jay~

Yes, for this account, 'Include this account when receiving mail or synchronizing' is ticked.

Only few messages (10%) got not downloaded, so this is a strange behavior. I got no error message at all.

And if I use Netscape mail client I can see everything without any problem.

Jay,

Could be the solution as moreever I got the same issue with Eudora mail client so it appears it is not mailclient related but on the server side.

A bug on the Netscape mailserver which needs to receive a patch ?. As I'm not the admin of it, I guess I have to live with it !
