Hello, this problem that seems like it should be fairly straight forward has been driving me crazy for hours!!!!!! I have a shared folder on a file server in our network. We map our users to it, but it has a "Read Only" attribute.

I go into Properties, uncheck "Read Only", click apply, and then close, but when I go back into properties the "Read Only" attribute is checked again. Help!!!!!

Also, start with a new folder and see if the same issue is persistant from folder to folder or if it is just this one folder causing the headache.

I'm Certifiable, not cert-ified.
It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.
