We have a site-to-site VPN. It is working, and we can run remote desktop, drive mapping without any problems. However, we also have a Novell Server, after we add TCPIP on the Novell Server, we can ping the server locally, but not through the VPN. Can someone help me?

Have you tried posting to the Novell forum? Lots of very helpful folks there. On the Novell server, look to see if in the sys:/etc/hosts and make sure your firewall is listed.

I can ping Novell server locally, but not through the VPN. I can also ping all the Windows servers and PCs through VPN. That is why I think I miss something in the VPN setup. Is there something special I need to do in order to ping Novell (has an IP already) though VPN?

The fact that you can ping everything else through the tunnel makes me think the Novell box has the problem. The only thing that could be on the PIX is if the crypto, no nat, or interface ACLs are misconfigured.

Our Novell Vendor told me that we need to enable "Multicast"? He said because he can ping the Novell server locally, the problem must be with VPN. Does that make any sense?

Here is the PIXs bit on multicast.
I am pretty sure it doesn't work via the VPN tunnel.

What does the Novell box use multicast for? If it is SLP, then I think you can set it statically and remove the multicast part.
Check the options at that subsection. They might work for you.

Make sure the gateway on the novell server is the same as the the machines that you can contact with the VPN.
