I am working on a Panasonic KX-TA1232 PBX with a KX-T7030 phone-set.
Our PBX lost its programming.
I am trying to program our CO trunks.
When I pick up the phone I have on dial-tone even if I select a CO line.
The display reads Ven Jan 09 4:37P
I have two buttons with red lights on them FWD/DND and the message.
I have tried to get into the program mode with or with the handset down, with or with out the phone program button switch on the back and with or without using the pause/program button. I dial *,#,1234.
The display does not change.
I can put an analog line on the jack and I will get dial-tone after a few beeps. I can not dial out.
I get dial tone weather the CO trunks are plugged in or not.
I have tested the CO trunks with an analog set and they have dial-tone.
I have tried power cycling the unit.
I have tried pushing the reset button.
The station cabled are connecting to a Telco cable and terminated on a RJ66 block.
I have tried programming from every jack using a cross connect wire and biscuit box using a 4 wire plug to the jack on pairs 12 and 56 which comes up with a display.
Any ideas on what else to test or am I doing something wrong?
Is there a way to reset the password??
Is there away to test the unit to make sure it did not get fired?
