Trying to set up an extension to forward to a cell phone after ring no answer.
I set this up in the user's forwarding tab, to forward to the cell when On Busy and On No Answer. It works internally when we call the extension, but not when the caller hits the Ext # from the AA.

It also works when we put on forward unconditional.

Analog lines, and all the line group IDs are correct in the short codes *FWD, as well as the ARS tables. Also in Analogue Options, Allow Analog Trunk to Trunk Connect is on.

When running monitor, we see it says CMTC--no answer time expired, and keeps targeting and fails---then says remaining on target.

Any ideas?

Try to take VM off that ext maybe that helps

On busy and no answer is not made for this.
Use mobile twinning.
In 8.0 mobile twinning is free so do the math and see if mobile twinning licenses are cheaper or the upgrade license.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Analog Trunks, so can not do the mobile twinning.

You might be able to trick it with a short code. Call forward on no answer to the short code. Then, the short code calls the outside number.

SC 300 (or whatever)
Tel 918005551212 (not sure if you need the 9
Feat Dial

Test the code by dialing 300 to make sure it works. Then set the call no answer to 300.
