We are having a problem on our 61c rls 5.0 pbx. We lost elan connection to cpilot and symposium. I am unable to enable the elnk in ld 117, I am getting a ciod015 error basically saying it is not active. I am trying to reload the software but it is not booting from the RMD, and I am not getting prompted to press "F" to force boot. The rmd has the software on there because I can see it when I put it in my laptop..
Any ideas?

I swapped cores and the software install is running fine. Guess I have a bad PIV card for starters

Why do you think you need to reload the software for an ELAN issue? I would start a lot simpler than that. Are you sure it's not an ethernet connection issue, you know, layer 1?

The problem was.... the elan hub. But in my defense, this hub was sending erroneous messages back to the pbx causing strange problems. I was not able to get into pdt, health state showed eth out of service, when I swapped cores the now inactive core all of a sudden went into a constant loop, I could not enable the elnk, when I would stat the elnk it would just bring me back to the dot, the pbx was just basically acting very strange. When I went on site I noticed the hub's lights flickering very faintly, including the power light. Plugged in a new switch and everything started coming back up. I did not test the software install on the original core though, I was just happy to be done.
Thanks!

I think the problem with enabling the ELNK was in fact the Hub. You didn't have a stable connection and that is what was causing it not to enable. But maybe you already knew that. Always check the easy stuff first.

I am kicking my self for going through all the trouble and it was the hub..what a novice move! It was a first for me though seeing a hub cause what looked like corrupted data.
