Seem wierd

I have inherited a system from a previous IT Guru (allegedly)

We have a 2003 server with 11 XP client
an example of my problem is

If i try to map a drive to a shared folder on our server using the browse feature i can not browse below our server name. If i unc the link (\\servername\ filename ) it works.

? is it perrmissions? i have full Admin rights

Or is it group policies? Still got to get my head around group policies.

Thanks

Control Panel, Folder Options, View, check the first box on your client: Automaticly search for network shares and printers.

I have looked on all the client machines and this option is already sellected.

Thanks

Are the share names using $ at the end of them? They won't show up with the $ there when browsing.
