Question in regards to internet explorer version 6.0

System Info

PIII 850, 512mb ram, Voo Doo 5/5500, CTL SB Live Platinum

OS Win 98 SE

AOL 7.0

Workstation off of a small LAN Intranet

Ok here is the issue, I have 3 ways of dialing into the internet, both are thru the same modem 56k USR.

Using the AOL dialer.
Using and Earthlink dialup number
Using my corporate dialup number to browse company email and their IntrAnet

The problem is after a small system config change, I can no longer browse my company IntrAnet or the web from this computer.

while dialing thru any access number. I do know while in the company IntrAnet I don’t have rights to go to any external

But when dialing thru the AoL or Earthlink numbers I can not surf the regular InteRNet

I do know that Security permissions in IE can cause this., so I lowered all security permissions to LOW and Content Advisor is not enabled.

Any assistance you could offer I wold appreciate.

Sincerely

Rob

Are you getting any messages on screen, page cannot be displayed etc. Can you ping the internet server for example?
