Can NEC DT900 Work with 3CX, FreePBX, or Other SIP-Based PBX? 2

Hi everyone,

I have an NEC DT900 series IP phone, and I'm wondering if it can be configured to work with a SIP-based PBX like 3CX or FreePBX. I know that NEC phones are usually locked to their own PBX systems, but has anyone successfully used the DT900 with a third-party SIP server?

If so, what steps or configurations were needed? Any help or guidance would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Yes, 3C supports DT900 phones in standard SIP mode.
The list of supported phones below is from "DT Series Administrator Guide - Core [Part Number 540-424R25]" manual.
