Can make international call from one extension but not another

So I'm having a problem where some users' extensions are unable to make international calls but I can from my extension. When I call from their extension they get a message that the "number is not in service" but when I call from my extension it works fine.

Any idea where to start looking? System Monitor showed up nothing interesting (connected numbers were identical). Watched the calls on System Status and nothing interesting there either.

I don't believe that monitor shows the same.
There must be a difference otherwise it would work.

Check rights group membership and ensure they (users) have the correct short codes.
Are you using Monitor or SSA to check the calls? Use monitor.

I used Monitor and used a tool to compare the traces.

Where would I check the rights group membership, not familiar with that.

Quicker way to rule out short codes faults:

In Manager:

User > Short Codes (your own user that we know works)

Now you select another User in the User list pane

Toggle back and forth, you see any differences in the short codes displayed?

If Gunnaro's suggestion is not helping you find the problem then for simple things like that you could easily use SSA and do a trace of the users call, that has less info than the Monitor but will tell you which shortcode is used and what is sent to the CO and should give enough information for you to see.

Yeah there's no difference between our shortcodes. The only shortcodes we each have are for forwarding our incoming phone calls occasionally.

OK, then you need to capture twomonitor traces, one from your call, and the other from the phone that fails.
Post the traces.
