Hello

We have AVAYA IP Phone 1608-I BLK and IP500 V2 8.1

When someone calls internally or externally to any extension/employee and if that employee makes him hold by pressing the HOLD button on the phone then we can hear the voice (Welcome to our company. If you know the extension please dial it) that we recorded for AUTO ATTEND for the testing purpose.

Our Auto Attend voice is working correctly but that testing voice is coming while someone puts the calls on hold by pressing the hold button.

Please provide any solution to delete that testing voice.

Regards

Sounds like you have saved this announcement as your hold greeting.

Press *34# and hear what plays back

Or if there is more than 1 hold message
*341# for hold 1
*342# for hold 2 etc

I tried the below as per your instruction

*341#
*342#
*343#
*344#

and I can hear the old greeting voice and I want to remove this permanently because even when we try to transfer our internal or external call to other extension by pressing the TRANSFER button, we can hear that voice.

Please guide me to remove that voice permanently without affecting our original greeting voice.

Thanks

I checked IP Phone Manager thoroughly but could not find the hold files.

How to upload new and correct music on hold files.

I recorded the greeting voice through local recording *8101
