I have a table of insurance policies that have (in some cases) had more than 1 contact. As part of the reporting I want to see how many distinct policies are are still current or cancelled by each geographic area in a Crosstab in Access. Can this be done directly within the crosstab or do I need to run a seperate query to isolate the distinct policies first?
Currently I am getting 150 policies for an area where there is only 120 because its counting each occurrence of contact.

The Access SQL implementation doesn't support Count Distinct. You will need to go to plan B.
