Can I use an ATA with the IPO 500 R6?? 1

Hello Masters, I´m starting with IPO 500 (Rel 6) and I need to do an expansion. We have big buildings to storage products, but these buildings are far to use analog stations, then we though about use ATA (e.g. audio codes) through a fiber connection. We need to put just 2 analog fax-stations so far from the IPO Control Unit.

Can I do it with IPO? What ATA models are recommended?

PS: ATA is an equipment that converts communication Voip to Analog.

Use Linksys PAP2T, AudioCodes are way to expensive.

a PAP2T will cost around €50,- and 2 third party IP endpoint licences and your done for less the the price you pay for a AC.

Very nice! It sound easy to implement, Can I consider it really simple to do?

Another thing: our IPO is Release 4.2. Must we up-grade it for R5 or R6? We will have advantages?

Also it's better to go to the latest 5.0 or 6.1

For 6.1 you need a license.
