Hello,

I am a newbie to ms access, I am trying to build a new database. and I have a few questions:

1. can I make a database made by access a standalone?
Like make it an .exe file, and make it run on computers
that don't have ms-access installed..

2. If its not possible to make it a standalone, I must run
it with ms-access running ? or that I can run it alone
without ms-access running ?

Thanks in Advance, :)
Alon.

Included in the office developer tools is a make installation program. This allows you to create an installation program for an access database/application. One of the options in this wizard is to ship your program with access runtime version, which i believe is a stripped out version of access, which is distributable & enables someone to run an access database without having the full version of access......
