Can I Terminate analog trunk on analog card (TN 793 CP)

Dear All,

SP providing me a single analog line (Main Board line number) for my office, so I want to point it to my VDN where it prompts for extension else routes to reception. I have around 25 members so need of DID/PRI.

I do have 1 G650 gateway with S8400 & digital/analog cards no CO trunk cards.

Now my problem is :

1. Can I Terminate this single analog trunk on analog card (TN 793 CP) as
incoming line so that i will poit it to VDN as said above.

2. If I can't terminate on Analog card, then please suggest any otherway or the
solution.

Note: For single analog line I have to procure CO trunk card, i will do that
which will take time also but as of now it is urgent to have single line
implemented without CO trunk card.

tn2793 and tn793 are analog station circuit packs that provide dialtone to stations that are programmed to ports on these boards.

You cannot program trunk circuits to a station circuit pack.

There are several types of circuit-packs that can be used for analog trunks. The type pack will be based on the specific carrier hardware that your switch is using.
