Can I store Rich Text Data Vaules in oracle ? *** Urgent***

Hi all,

Pls help!

I have my application (made in VB) which requires me to store some data in Rich Text ( Bold, Underline etc ) in my oracle table. Oracle version is 8.

Can I store this ? If yes how ?

please help me . this is very very urgent.

Have you considered using the datatype BLOB (binary large object)?

You'll have to store it in BLOB or BFILES datatypes, and you may want to talk about Context Option with your DBA.
