Sorry, they have a Windows 2000 server and a few Windows 2000 Professional computer. He has DSL Internet SErvice at home adn at work. HE wants to be able to access his desktop at home as if he was logging in at work. I hope this helps. Thanks.

If they have the server, the simplest way may be to use Terminal Server. It is integrated in 2000 server, so there is no need for additional expenses.
You can access it from any PC via Remote Desktop or Terminal server client (disk to be made on server)

Thank you so much, so do I need to set up Windows 2000 Server at his house or can he use Professional?

O, you said 'they have ...'
You don't have to use 2000 server, but only server has Terminal Server.
Win2000 or even XP Pro will do, just use remote desktop then.
