sip trunk from level 3

when I call forward now, It shows up as my ext calling me, can I change that to show the callers number instead? Ive changed it for twining, but wasn't sure how to do it for a forwarded call?

You might try making your own ARS table (although you could probably do it at the user level shortcode)

I was thinking something like:

Code: 1XXXXXXXXXX

Telephone Number: 1Nss##########

Feature: Dial 3K1

Line Group: Either the line group of the SIP or a 2nd ARS table where you built the above entry.

You should also make one for the dial string without the 1 such as

Code: XXXXXXXXXX

Telephone number: Nss##########

Dial 3K1

Line group as mentioned above.

Not sure if this is 100% correct, but I wanted to suggest it and also try to help.

In ARS create a shortcode like SC=8N TN=NSS Action=Dial LineGroupID=the linegroup to dial out on
Then your forward number is 8<your cell phone number>
If you are called from a external line you will see the number of the caller on your cell phone, if it is a internal user calling then you will see the internal number only.
This only works if your provider supports CLI forwarding.
