I have a customer with a IP406 that has a t1 card. We were planning on upgrading them to IP500 V2 with 9.1 and reusing the t1 card. Recently discovered that the legacy module for the t1 card is not supported with 9.1. The 9.1 Preferred Edition license has already been purchased. Before I purchase a 9.0 Preferred Edition license, is it possible to have equipment at 9.0, but have a 9.1 license, and have everything work properly?

Yes. You can run the earlier release. I do it all the time because 9.1 shouldn't have been released. They should have done their own testing. I'll allow it to run on my systems when they get it right. Till then, i have few bugs on 9.0.5

I'm clear but my fighter is down.

You should also have the option to buy a phone 2 or VCM32V2 to put the card on.

derflow, you disappoint me... no IP 400 linecards in r9.1 and these never fitted on a IP500 card other then the legacy card.

I'm so sorry intrigant ;-)

I was thinking about a newer line card sitting on a legacy card carrier.

So jonwillson... Forget my last post :-D

Hah! That makes me young too then [bigsmile]

Kind regards

Gunnar
