Can I pass an array to a report instead of a recordset?

We have ADO wrapped in our own data access layer. We have a number of reports originally designed to use MS Access queries direct from the database. Now I'd like to be able to pass an array of data into a report instead of the report having direct access to the database.

Any ideas? I wondered about using Crystal Data Objects.

Crystal has to report on a 'table' (something with columns) so does an array of data mean a recordset? Ken Hamady, On-site Custom Crystal Reports Training & Consulting

It really is a multi-dimension array of variants rather than a recordset. I figured the best way to do this would be to populate a CDO recordset from the array and pass that in to the report. What do you think?

Thanks,

Barry

That makes sense since I know that recordsets can be passed. I don't know about arrays. Ken Hamady, On-site Custom Crystal Reports Training & Consulting
