Can I open two Outlook accounts on one desktop?

I have two outlook mailbox accounts one for my email and one for support. I would like to be able to run box mailboxes at the same time as each mailbox has a number of client side rules that will only be processed when that mailbox is open.

Is this possible??

Currently I have permissions to access the support mailbox when logging into my email mailbox but the rules do not run in this configuration.

Any ideas please

Which version of Outlook are you using?

In all version up to Outlook 2000...no you can't. I don't think in 2002 you can either but I haven't worked to much with this version. joegz

I know you can run multiple PST files in 2002. I'm doing it and have even opened my users' pst files in m outlook to see what the problem was.

To counter this problem I've installed Outlook 2000 on a spare machine and logged it in to the support mailbox.

However, becauses the rules I need to run are client-side I've had to re-enter them from scratch. (My rules were originally created in Outlook 2002 so I can't export them to Outlook 2000). I now have the problem that I cannot create my rules properly!

My rule has to include a move based on the value of a field. However, whenever I try to add a description and add it to the list the description goes blank. So my rules are reading move message to folder x when field y contains "blank"

Any ideas on why I can't enter a description into the value field??
