Hiya. Simple question: can I open a Remote Desktop session to a stand-alone XP Pro PC using dial-up? I understand how to connect over the internet, and within a LAN, but can I put my XP Pro machine in a mode that allows me to take control of it by dialing into it? Surely there must be a way.....

What about using something like TightVNC?

bcastner, how about some additional info? How do I set this up?

Use the New Connection Wizard and set up and advanced connection to allow the system to accept dial-up connections.
