I have phone numbers in my access database, can i use this number and make a call ?

Yes. There are at least 2 methods available.

1. For quick and simple dialling only, use the MSComm control. There is a simple example in the VB samples folder. It's called Dialer.vbp and only needs a modem

2. For really fancy stuff look up TAPI (warning - deep waters!). This is intended for handling all aspects of telephony, including programmable PBXs and VOIP. If you need to get into this, it's probably better to use C rather than VB
