Okay, in my office, we have a Windows 2000 Server box running, and I've running out of space on the hard drive that I have served out to the network. I want to add another hard drive, but then have both drives act as one big partition. Is this possible? I know a little bit about what a RAID array is, but I know that requires extra hardware. Is there someplace in Windows 2000 Server that will allow me to partition to physical drives into a single partition without having to buy extra hardware or expensive software? Any help or hints would be appreciated. And just so someone doesn't suggest it, I'd rather not try the samba route. Too difficult to configure for our network. Thanks

Hi;

Sorry but the only way to have 2 hard drives act as one is through RAID. Can you add a second hard drive and move some of the data off? Another idea would be to buy a larger drive and use Norton Ghost to move everything. Then reformat the old drive and use it for whatever.

Ed Please let me know if the sugestion(s) I provide are helpful to you.
