can i limit access to one ISDN line for 3 users

I have 3 users (a charity) sharing a room in our office, I have programmed in their DDI numbers, outbound CLI etc but would like to have them use their own ISDN line for their own outbound calls for billing etc, is this easy to do using shortcodes or is there a better way? i have an Avaya 403DS with 3.2 firmware on it

 
create a ARS for each of the companies with their own line in it, delete the 9 system shortcode and put user shortcodes in that point to their own line, then they don't need to think with different line access codes and can't cheat either, except if they ise somebody elses phone :)

Westi, ARS is for 4.x not for 3.2

Baldyeagle, you need to program user shortcodes for the users that need there own line(s)

The line id is the line of the isdn they need to use

why not just create a shortcode of 9N under each of their user short codes and remove the system short code for dialing out.

Customer A

ISDN Channels 1 and 2 outgoing ID 1
Extensions in Customer A

User short code
9N
Dial
N
Outgoing ID 1


Customer B

ISDN Channels 3 and 4 out going ID 2

Extensions in Customer B

User short code
9N
Dial
N
Outgoing ID 2

Providing you do not want them to dial out on each others ISDN channels this will work fine.

If a user has a user shortcode then it will use that
I personaly would never erase that system shortcode

Why ?

A user shortcode is used above a system shortcode
Did you read the bloody instruction ???

so how do i then change the ISDN line ID? is that just in lines under the line number (5 for example) channel 1 and 2 changed from group 0 to 2 on both incoming and outgoing. the line appearance ID is 701, does that matter?

I have then put the user shortcode as:
code 9N
Feature Dial
Telephone Number N
Line group ID 2
locale blank
force account code empty

when I do this, the user still dials out on any line.. what am i arsing up?
 
On the specific line change the Line Group ID from 0 into 2, then that user will use the line.

The apperance ID doe not matter, in this case.
