Hi !

comp : PIII,650 Mhz, 128 MB SD RAM. 20 GB HDD.Windows98 SE. About 4 yrs old.

Iam thinking of installing WIn XP. [ Win98 on C Drive, win XP on D drive ].

The last time I installed WinXP my comp had only 64 MB of RAM.XP did run. But was slow.

NOw that I have 128 MB RAM , Will XP run OK on my machine?

My undersytanding is that for optimum performance XP requires 256 Mb at least, but as you have discovered, it will run with less.

i think you should pop in at least another 128 of RAM if you can. XP will probably run, but with only a 20-gig hard drive your scratch disk space will run thin if you have too many programs running at once.
