Can I export report to plain text...

I'm creating a report with different field types, text, currency, date, etc. I need to export the report to a plain text file. Each column has to have a set width, so I have to complete with zeros or spaces the length of the field if it is shorter than required i.e.:

OrderNumber (16 digits) -> 00000000320989-3
DateAndTime (19 digits) -> 04/02/2001 14:22:24
Name (40 digits) -> (31 blank spaces)+John Cook
Price (16 digits) -> 0000000003940.35

I already got to the report part. What I need now is to export each record to a single string, something like:

00000000320989-304/02/2001 14:22:24 John Cook0000000003940.35

Also... forgot to mention...

the total length of the final string is 311 characters.
