I am using Analog Trunks, in Pool A. The normal route 00 is used. Is there any way to avoid using the 9? This is a residential install, and it is bugging the guys wife.

Yes you can just assign the trunk as a Line on the phone.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Any Idea how it will handle call waiting on a residential line?

Thanks

I think if it's on the phone as a line, you can do a flash hook or the feature code. I don't know what it is though.

Feature 71 (Link Feature) is used for call waiting

What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.

If they have multiple lines, and they want to grab line002 first, give each extension access to Pool A, then set PRIME LINE to POOL A in set programming...

you could also input a 9 in the hotline programming that way when you pick up the phone the 9 is instantly dialed...
