Pls Help....I need to create smoke effects wat programme to use and even better if After Effects is able to do it!

If you have the ProBundle version of AE, you can use the Particle generator to emit lots of small white particles. Adding a Gaussian blur on top of these gives quite a convincing smoke simulation.

I guess it depends on what you want to do with your smoke.

If you want smoke from a smoky torch, that's one thing, if you want smoke as in firefighters-struggling-to-find-each-other-in-the-smoke, that's a different thing.

For the latter, you might look at the cheat I used in

"3d fog after effects"

I sometimes achieve good results using a blur on a particle playground, but not always. Smoke is like fire -- it either looks good or it looks bad.
