CAll the UDF in a stored proc

thank you for your fast reply

Does this mean i cant call the udf directly?

I can't imagine that you could because direct SQl from Access runs through the Access jet engine which does not support UDFs

I thought if i was using an adp front end, this didnt use jet.

I don't know anything about adp's, but you should be able to use the udf in a pass-through query as well.

Hope this helps,

Alex
