Can I block an email address from my 5.5? 1

okay. there is just one user on my network that has been getting an email with an attachment.
She does not actually open the mail. She (and I) only highlight the mail to delete it and it automatically opens Windows media player (which fails to play the attachment). We are now getting about 10 of these a day and, as you can understand, I'm getting annoyed. :+(

All the emails are coming from "directmail@yahoo-inc.com".

Is there anyway that I can block this email address from coming to our email server?

oh, btw, I have norton corporate on that workstation and all seems to be clear. All patches on the workstations are up to date too. I also have a Checkpoint firewall, so if anyone feels that I may be better at resolving this issue from teh firewall, please let me know.

In Exchange Administrator, open Internet Mail Service.
Click on Connections tab.
Click on Message Filtering box.
Add the email address.
Close out of Exchange Administrator.
Stop Internet Mail Service service
Start Internet Mail Service service.

This should block all emails from that email addres.

Yep DColcl .. rather that put directmail@yahoo-inc.com, use @yahoo-inc.com - but be warned that you will block ANY mail from that domain. I use it myself for known SPAM email address domains, but use the full address for say @hotmail.com as we still want to receive email from clients who use these domains.
