I would like to add a person to a hunt group (skill) remotely to trigger an action, is it possible?

you can add skills to agents via a fac that can be accessed via the remote-access feature off site via a ddi and barrier code

APSS (SME)
ACSS (SME)
ACIS (UC)

I've tried and cant get it to work, because when you login remotely it doesn't know what extension you are coming from to login with

I had built a vector with a test VDN exactly like what you describe, but how do you add a user to a hunt group to turn on or off a message... the FAC is 00 and the user has the code #007192 on one of their buttons to turn on the message but I need to do it remotely..

I set a barrier code, but when I get in and do the *XX to do the LOGIN to a skill level I get the fast bust, is that the COR or COS setting? and what needs to be changed to allow me to do that?

You can do a 'Remote Log Out" of an agent. See Page 6 of the feature-access-codes.
You can log an agent out and use the "GOTO" vector step if staffed agents / available agent = 0.
Remote logout of agents works with the EC500 feature for station dial tone as well.

After reading this again:

If you are wanting to do feature codes from a phone remotely, setting up EC500 might be a possible solution. It can give you or the other station user the ability to enter FAC's as though you were sitting at the phone in question.
