Can I access the user that answered a rotary hunt group call from VMPro?

Hello!

I currently do some database lookups to route calls and link call history to our CRM.

Some inbound calls go to rotary hunt groups to be answered by the next available user.

I'd like to be able to log WHICH user answered the call. Does anyone know of a way to return this value back to VM PRO so that I can write it out to a DB?

Thanks!

Since the call leaves VMPro the call flow will be finished and you will not get the info you like to have.

The only way I see is to emulate the function of the hunt group by building a loop of assisted transfer actions where you can write results back to DB.

In theory you could manage the members of the 'hunt group' within the DB and the login status as well.

But you probably need some kind of a reporting tool (contact center) to get what you need.

Need some help with IP Office?

You could build a TAPI / CTI application that monitors the extensions, or use SMDR.
