Hi gang- long time no talk to-
Is it possible to have a hunt group overflow to a specific CCR tree? Trying to give callers a choice when no-one is available to answer the phone...

Thanks pts,
I figured as much. Wasn't sure if anyone had a creative workaround. Have a unique issue where company wants 'live' answer of every call, and then transferred to appropriate hunt group. This is fine, but overflow of any one hunt group needs to go back to the office group. The office group are the same phones that would be answering the call initially. Would it be wise/advisable to program the office phones as a hunt group and have incoming calls (4 pots) go directly to that group? I can't seem to come up with a scenario that would be good for this...

Hey DebSchwab,
thanks for the tip. I've presented this very same idea to the boss, and will see what happens. We're really struggling with the idea of letting AA answer the phones; goes against the company philosophy. I'm trying to build this up so that routing during 'live' calling times can be used at night to reach group mailboxes, and then showing the boss how this would work for after hours. I really appreciate the comments!

Hey RYLSFAN,
I've read about doing that here in the forum; seems to me that this would be the least desirable way to go, but a way to go none the less. I spoke with the top brass last night, they are concidering the hunt group idea and also the workaround. We'll see later today what they think. I have a feeling we will be going withthe hunt group option, but time will tell...
