Hi

i have a ipo 412, version 3.2.55 and 5410 handsets,
and our customer wants to know, if 5410's can make decision about the station busy or no answer without using voicemail pro,

if users have appearence keys like a and b, they can see
second call on b appearence key, in this case is it possible to handset differentiate the people is busy and says the caller , the dialed extension is busy , or there is no answer , the people is unavailable, he or she is not on him/her extension, there is no body to take the phone,

can digital handsets understand the station is busy or unavailable, without voicemail pro's flow chart named assisted transfer.

thanks
serhan from cablenet

you could make short codes for set absent text but the user would have to turn it on and off.

hi
thanks
i read the pdf's of this shortcode and i send the set absent text short code message's example's to the customer, i will try it , thank you.

it is good, but is there any user friendly version, for example the digital phone says the extension busy or no answer like vm pro's assisted transfer.

thanks

The thing is that if you have a "Call Waiting" function on the digital sets, like you're allowing a new call on line B when your busy on line A the IPO will handle the call as "No Answer" since it rang on the handset.
