Can crystal enterprise 8.5 and 9.0 co-exist on the same server

I wanted to find out if 8.5 and 9.0 CE can co-exist on the same server?

Is it possible at all? Are there any known issues? Is there any documentation to do this?

If I recall correctly, CE9's install program wil remove/update the 8.5 components, so both cannot co-exist..
