Hi all,

The above question had been posed to me and I wondered if anyone has done this... I cant seem to find any supporting documentation for this theory..., I know you can have S8400 platform with SIPI in the Prologix but not sure about using a TN2402 and loading CM3.X via Flash card.

Anyone come across this design ?

Well, there were some roumers that its possible to run cm 3.x on a blade tn2402 processor but it would be a different release than available. i guess avaya forces their customers to upgrade to a S-series server with this software release. Officialy its not possible to perform this action.

1ce,

cm3 does support csi platform (prologix) and does run on tn2402 processor. no problem with that.

dwalin,

Thanks for the reply... I think its confirmed.

Hey Everyone,
Another question on this topic...
If I'm going from a prologix R10 or R11 to CM3.1 would I require Provision for the migration via FLASH upgrade

1ce,

no you don't need provision in this case. after you reboot the system with new software you just insert a flash card with existing r10/r11 translations and it will be loaded up and converted automatically. prologix is easy to upgrade.

Thanks for confirming that for me...
