HELLO , there, I have a puzzling. Our network
guy reckons the following:

CIR + EIR + AIR = AVAIL BANDWITH...

does anyone know if at any time, CIR + EIR + AIR
be possible,

THis is due to a question when said our link is as
follows:

128K CIR, 64K EIR, and 32K AIR

As apparently our frame provided allows for
an extra 32K On top of the 64K EIR...

ANY IDEAS?

CIR + EIR = AIR

C stands for Committed
E stands for Excess
A stands for Available

If your PVC is 16K CIR and 32K EIR then your committed rate is 16K and your maximum "burst" speed is 48K.

Even if your port speed is 64K your site-to-site throughput can never exceed 48K.
